Job summary

Casa di Lusso Care Home in Bridgwater is a modern, purpose-built home delivering dementia care with a resident-centred approach. We are seeking a dedicated Care Assistant to support residents with daily living and help maintain dignity and independence.

You will follow care plans, assist with personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, and work as part of a friendly team. Training and development are provided, and weekend shifts alternate.

Qualifications

• Caring, compassionate and respectful approach.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable and positive attitude.
• Willingness to learn and develop.
• Previous experience is beneficial but not essential.
• NVQ Level 2 is desirable or willingness to work towards.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing.
• Follow care plans to deliver safe, responsive and consistent care.
• Work as part of a supportive team in a warm environment where relationships matter.
• Open to both experienced carers and those new to care, with training and development provided.
• Be available to work alternate weekends.

Casa di Lusso Care Home is a modern, purpose-built home in Bridgwater, offering expert Dementia care for up to 88 residents, with the latest care technology ensuring comfort and peace of mind.

Care Assistant Contract

• £13.00 per hour
• Contracted to 46 hours per week
• Paid DBS pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As a Care Assistant, you will make a meaningful difference in our residents lives everyday. This role is central to delivering high quality, person centred care that supports dignity, independence and overall wellbeing.

You will support individuals with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, helping them feel comfortable, respected and valued. By following care plans and recognising changes in condition, you will contribute to safe, responsive and consistent care.

Working as part of a supportive team, you will help create a warm and positive environment where relationships matter and people feel truly cared for. This opportunity is open to both experienced carers and those new to care, with full training, guidance and ongoing development provided to support your journey.

The successful candidate will be required to work alternate weekends.
