This Care Assistant post sits at Westbourne Tower Care Home, one of over 100 homes run by Avery Healthcare Group. The work centres on delivering personal care, including hygiene support that protects residents' independence and dignity, while watching for clinical risks such as pressure sores, weight loss and infection and escalating them promptly. No previous experience is needed because full induction and training are provided, though candidates must pass a DBS check and prove they have the right to work in the UK.

What the job involves

• Deliver high standards of personal care and contribute to the care team to ensure continuity of services
• Assist residents with all personal hygiene care, protecting their independence, dignity and respect
• Recognise clinical risks such as weight loss, pressure sores, risk of falls and signs of infection, and upscale them in a timely manner
• Act courteously towards residents and their visitors, respecting each resident's dignity and individuality
• Follow safe systems of work across the range of tasks
