Job summary

The Cedars Nursing Home in the United Kingdom is seeking a dedicated Care Assistant for a 24-hour-per-week role at Springcare Ltd. The position offers permanent full and part-time day or night contracts within a caring, resident-centred environment.

You will assist residents with washing, dressing, feeding and activities, and help with general housekeeping while maintaining safeguarding and welfare. Benefits include access to a work place pension scheme and fully funded training.

Job description

The Cedars Nursing Home - Care Assistant - 24 hours per week.

Some of the daily tasks that a carer at Springcare would carry out would include:

• helping with washing and dressing


• Assisting with feeding and mealtimes


• finding out and knowing residents interests and needs.


• general housekeeping such as tidying residents' private bedrooms and communal areas


• supporting each resident's physical and mental wellbeing through activities.

Our care team provide 24-hour care, where day care shifts are worked from 8am until 8pm, and night-time shifts are from 8pm until 8am.

Typical Shift patterns for Days Shift Contracts

• 8am until 8pm


• 8am until 2pm


• 2pm until 8pm

Successful applicants would require two written references, a standard/enhanced DBS (depending on role) and evidence of a right to work in the UK check.
