Job summary

Springcare Care Homes Ltd is seeking a dedicated Care Assistant for day shifts at Sycamore and Poplars, Mansfield. You will support residents with daily living, assist with meals, and encourage activities to promote wellbeing and dignity.

We offer stable full-time day contracts, access to a pension, and training opportunities from level 2 to 5, with a focus on career progression within our caring team.

Responsibilities

• Help residents with washing and dressing.

Job description

Sycamore and Poplars - Care Assistant Days - 48 hours per week.

Not only do our care team provide nursing care to our residents, they also help to make our residents lives fulfilled, treat each resident with dignity & respect, and care for them all as if they were their own family.

About the role:

• helping with washing and dressing
• Assisting with feeding and mealtimes
• finding out and knowing residents interests and needs.
• general housekeeping such as tidying residents' private bedrooms and communal areas
• supporting each resident’s physical and mental wellbeing through activities.

Our care team provide 24-hour care, where day care shifts are worked from 8am until 8pm, and night-time shifts are from 8pm until 8am.

Typical Shift patterns for Day Contracts:

• 8am until 8pm
• 8am until 2pm
• 2pm until 8pm

Successful applicants would require two written references, a standard/enhanced DBS (depending on role) and evidence of a right to work in the UK check.
