Job summary

Perry Locks Care Home in Birmingham is seeking a Care Assistant to join our team, supporting residents with daily living, personal care and wellbeing. You will work within a friendly, respectful environment, following care plans and collaborating with colleagues to ensure dignity and independence for residents.

Perry Locks Care Home is a 128 bed care home located in Perry Barr, Birmingham, West Midlands. Providing residential, nursing and dementia care, the home offers a welcoming environment where colleagues work together to provide high quality, person centred care. Care Assistant Contract

• Contracted to 44 hours per week
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview
As a Care Assistant, you will make a meaningful difference in our residents lives everyday. This role is central to delivering high quality, person centred care that supports dignity, independence and overall wellbeing.
You will support individuals with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, helping them feel comfortable, respected and valued. By following care plans and recognising changes in condition, you will contribute to safe, responsive and consistent care.
Working as part of a supportive team, you will help create a warm and positive environment where relationships matter and people feel truly cared for. This opportunity is open to both experienced carers and those new to care, with full training, guidance and ongoing development provided to support your journey.
