Perry Locks Care Home in Birmingham is seeking a Care Assistant to join our team, supporting residents with daily living, personal care and wellbeing. You will work within a friendly, respectful environment, following care plans and collaborating with colleagues to ensure dignity and independence for residents.

Qualifications

A caring, compassionate and respectful approach.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
A reliable and positive attitude.
Willingness to learn and develop.
Previous experience is beneficial but not essential.
[SVQ/NVQ] Level 2 is desirable or willingness to work towards.

Responsibilities

Support residents with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing.
Follow care plans and recognise changes in condition to ensure safe, responsive care.
Work as part of a supportive team to create a warm, respectful environment.
Contribute to overall wellbeing and quality of life for residents.
