Job summary

Launton Grange Care Home, part of Care Concern Group, is recruiting a Care Assistant to support residents with daily living, personal care and wellbeing. You will work within a friendly team, following care plans and promoting dignity and independence, with full training and ongoing development provided.

This role is open to both experienced carers and those new to care, with a comprehensive induction and opportunities for progression within the home.

Qualifications

• Care experience is beneficial but not required.
• NVQ Level 2 desirable or willingness to work towards.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities.
• Provide help with personal care and mobility support.
• Assist with nutrition and hydration for residents.
• Follow care plans and report changes to the team.
• Contribute to a safe, respectful and welcoming care environment.

Job description

Launton Grange Care Home is a welcoming care home located a short distance from Bicester town centre, providing residential and dementia care. The home has a strong focus on promoting independence and an active lifestyle, with comfortable social spaces, a bright garden room, quiet lounges and a range of activities for Residents to enjoy. Colleagues work together to provide high quality, person centred care while supporting Residents to live fulfilling and independent lives.

Care Assistant Contract

• £14.80 to £15.30 per hour
• Contracted to 38.5 hours per week
• Paid DBS pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As a Care Assistant, you will make a meaningful difference in our residents lives everyday. This role is central to delivering high quality, person centred care that supports dignity, independence and overall wellbeing.

You will support individuals with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, helping them feel comfortable, respected and valued. By following care plans and recognising changes in condition, you will contribute to safe, responsive and consistent care.

Working as part of a supportive team, you will help create a warm and positive environment where relationships matter and people feel truly cared for. This opportunity is open to both experienced carers and those new to care, with full training, guidance and ongoing development provided to support your journey.
