Job summary

CCH Group is seeking a Complex Care Assistant to join our team in Ashington, West Sussex. You will contribute to high-quality personal care, including PEG medication support, tracheostomy and ventilation-related tasks, and social engagement with a young adult under our care.

Full training and induction are provided, with a DBS check paid by the company. This role offers opportunities for career progression within a people-first care group across the UK.

Qualifications

• Experience in a complex care assistant role is advantageous, especially with clinical tasks such as PEG feeding, ventilation support, seizure protocols, and moving & handling.
• Willing to undergo full training and paid induction to support care needs.
• Ability to adapt to delivering high-quality personal care in a home-care setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support to a young gentleman with cerebral palsy.
• Support medication administration via PEG and monitor clinical needs.
• Contribute to meaningful social interaction and daily living activities within a care team.

Pay: £15 per hour

Shifts: Mondays 7am - 6pm, Sundays 10am - 5pm + Bank Days & Nights Throughout The Week

Driver required: Yes - full UK licence and access to your own vehicle

What you'll do

Join our team as a Complex Care Assistant and take the opportunity to enhance your skills with full training and clinical support in areas such as tracheostomy care, ventilation, seizure management, PEG feeding, and more. You'll be supporting a young gentleman in his early twenties with cerebral palsy, working alongside a caring team to provide personal care, medication via PEG, seizure support, and meaningful social interaction. Every day brings something new, and you'll be making a real difference in someone’s life while growing your own knowledge and experience in complex care.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a complex care assistant role is extremely advantageous, especially involving the following clinical tasks:

• PEG feeding.
• C-Pap ventilation support.
• Medication and protocols for seizure management.
• Moving & Handling Equipment.
