Candlelight Care are looking for enthusiastic, caring, and reliable individuals to join our friendly, family‑run team. In this role, you’ll support vulnerable adults in the comfort of their own homes across Trowbridge, Wiltshire and the surrounding areas.
We have both full‑time and part‑time opportunities available, with typical shifts from 7am‑2pm and/or 4pm‑10pm. You’ll also be expected to work alternate weekends.
Driving is not always essential depending on your location.

Every day is different in Health and Social Care. In this role you should expect to get to know your clients, their interests and individual needs.
You will provide both emotional and practical support, such as assisting with personal care (washing, toileting, dressing), domestic household tasks and meal preparation.
You will also be supporting clients with medication, mobility aids and personal equipment where required, and have a responsibility to monitor overall wellbeing and report to the Registered Manager any significant changes in the health or circumstances of a client. We encourage our clients to remain as independent as possible while ensuring their wellbeing is always supported and safeguarded.
A full driving licence and access to a vehicle is helpful, although walking or cycling routes may be available in some areas, so please enquire as to whether we have current availability.
