Southern Housing's Care & Support team is looking for a compassionate Care & Support Worker to provide hands-on, person-centred support across schemes in Freshwater, Ryde, Newport and the Bay area. You’ll follow individual care plans, help residents live independently, while promoting dignity, choice and inclusion.

No previous experience is required as full training is provided, but a vehicle with business use insurance is required.

Qualifications

• Willingness and ability to work towards an NVQ Level 2 in Care and complete required training

This Care & Support Worker post sits in Southern Housing's Care & Support service, delivering CQC-regulated care across supported housing, extra care and community services. The work is person-centred support delivered to individual care plans, helping people live as independently as possible. It is hands-on and varied, supporting older people and people with learning disabilities, autism, mental health or complex needs, with evenings, weekends and sleep-in or on-call rotas. No experience is needed as full training is given, but a vehicle with business use insurance is required.
