Job summary

Southern Housing's Green Meadows team is seeking a Care & Support Worker to provide personalised care and support across housing schemes, extra care and community services on the Island. The role focuses on dignity, choice and independence for adults with varied needs, including evenings and on‑call duties.

No prior experience needed; full training is provided and an Enhanced DBS check is required to start.

Job description

Care & Support Worker post in the Care & Support service at Southern Housing's Green Meadows team, covering supported housing schemes, extra care and community support across the Island. The work is personalised care delivered to individual care plans, helping people to live as independently as possible with dignity and choice. The caseload spans older adults, people with learning disabilities or autism and people with mental health needs, with evenings, weekends, sleep‑ins and on‑call duties. No previous experience is needed as training is provided, but an Enhanced DBS check is required.

What the job involves
