Valley Care in the Stockport area, based in Cheadle, is hiring care and support workers to assist adults aged 55 and over. The role includes personal care, mobility support, meal preparation, and medication administration, with full training provided.

We offer £12.90 per hour, paid holidays, a company mobile phone, induction and training, and clear opportunities for progression. Part-time and full-time shifts are available, including early, late, and long days, with a supportive team.

Responsibilities

Job Description

• Our care workers are responsible for assisting service users with personal care such as washing, bathing and toilet arrangements.
• Helping service users overcome any mobility problems and other physical disabilities, including helping in the use and care of aids and personal equipment.
• Domestic tasks such as making and changing beds, tidying rooms, light cleaning, laundry and emptying commodes
• Help with eating and drinking by preparing meals, snacks and drinks
• Support with administrating medication.
• Assisting clients on social visits and activities.
