Care and Support Assistant - Miami House, Chelmsford, Essex

McCarthy Stone is seeking a professional Care and Support Assistant, with some domestic duties, to join our team at Miami House development in Chelmsford, Essex.

Hours: 20 hours per week, including a mix of weekdays and weekends throughout the year.

Base Salary: £11.58 up to £12.88* per hour, with additional pay for evening and weekend hours.

About the role:

You will provide high-quality individual care to residents, supporting their wellbeing. Duties include housekeeping, domestic support, assisting with activities, booking appointments, arranging transport, escorting visits, and shopping assistance. Your role will be diverse, allowing you to use your people skills to make a positive impact daily.

About you:

• You will be located within easy commuting distance of the estate.
• Preferably have at least 1 year of UK Health and Social care experience.
• You are a warm, friendly individual, ideally with experience in care or support roles.
• You are passionate about enhancing the wellbeing of older people and enjoy teamwork in a busy environment.
• You are committed to delivering excellent customer service.
• Having a QCF Health and Social Care (Adults) Level 2 qualification is preferred, but relevant experience and alternative qualifications will be considered.
