NCIC seeks a Cardiologist with an interest in cardiac imaging to work across the North Cumbria Integrated Care Trust, spanning acute hospitals and community diagnostic centres. The role includes developing the imaging portfolio and a flexible job plan tailored to the applicant’s skills and department needs.

The post supports a team of interventional and non-interventional cardiologists with 24/7 PCI and a 1:6 weekend on-call commitment, across multiple sites within the North Cumbria region.

Formación

• Valid Full Registration with the General Medical Council.
• Entry on the GMC Specialist Register CCT/CESR.
• Membership of the Royal College Physicians or equivalent.
• MBBS or equivalent primary medical qualification.
• Higher medical degree.
• BSE or equivalent training in trans thoracic echo.

Responsabilidades

• Participation in 1:6 weekend on-call rota.
• Perform planned clinics as scheduled.
• Teaching Central Doctors on ward rounds.
• Contributing to MDT meetings and referrals triage.
• Travel to Whitehaven Hospital and Workington CDC to cover service.
