Job summary

University of Glasgow in Glasgow is offering a fixed-term Clinical Research Fellowship (3 years) in the School of Cardiovascular and Metabolic Health. The Fellow will register for a higher degree, contribute to trials, data collection, and dissemination, and engage with MRI/ECG analyses across NHS sites.

The role supports collaboration with named investigators and aims to publish outputs while developing research skills through GCP training and project coordination.

Qualifications

• MBChB or equivalent required.
• MRCP (UK) or equivalent required.
• General Medical Council registration and licence to practise essential.
• Completion of general professional training in general medicine.

Responsibilities

• Support recruitment to clinical studies and data collection.
• Assist project management and study coordination.
• Analyse data for efficacy assessments (MRI, ECG, angiograms).
• Coordinate source data collection across sites.
• Support communication with collaborators and patients.
• Assist trial management and Good Clinical Practice compliance.
• Contribute to trial outputs (abstracts, papers).
• Present at dissemination events and meetings.
• Collaborate with Wellcome Leap projects and clinical teams.
• Support clinical activities at various hospitals and outpatient clinics.
• Submit grant applications as needed.
