Job summary

Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Team Leader for the Cardiology administrative services at King’s Mill Hospital. You will lead Waiting List Coordinators and Receptionists, oversee bookings, and drive timely patient pathways.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and a focus on data quality to meet local and national standards. You will collaborate with clinicians and the Associate Operations Manager to sustain high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Good general education including GCSE English at grade C or equivalent.
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent experience and relevant supervisory training.
• NVQ in Customer Care and a recognised IT qualification.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise Waiting List Coordinators, Receptionists and administrative staff.
• Oversee patient bookings and validate waiting lists across Cardiology diagnostic services.
• Support service improvements and ensure data quality across systems.
• Allocate workload, train staff and manage sickness/leave.
• Ensure local and national performance standards are achieved.
