Job summary

Foresight Search Ltd. in Cardiff is seeking an experienced Planner to support a multi-regional main contractor on complex refurbishment and high-rise projects.

You will develop tender and construction programmes from tender through to completion, collaborating with pre-construction and operations teams. The role suits someone with main contractor planning experience and a proactive approach to programme management.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Planner within a main contractor.
• Experience across new build, refurbishment or fit-out projects.
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing and methodology.
• Experience producing tender and live construction programmes.
• Commercially aware with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Developing detailed tender and construction programmes.
• Producing and maintaining project programmes throughout the delivery phase.
• Working closely with estimating, commercial and operational teams.
• Reviewing construction methodology, sequencing and logistics.
• Monitoring progress against programme and identifying potential delays.
• Supporting project teams with short-term and recovery programmes.
• Producing programme updates and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Attending tender, pre-construction and project meetings.
• Assessing programme risk and helping develop mitigation strategies.
• Supporting multiple projects across the region where required.
