Job summary

Planning Planet is seeking an experienced Senior Planner in Cardiff to lead the project planning function for a major £100m infrastructure scheme. You will own the construction programme using Primavera P6, ensuring accuracy and clear communication across the site team.

Working closely with senior leadership, you will monitor progress, identify risks and provide critical planning insight to support the project strategy and delivery objectives. Hybrid working with site presence is available.

Qualifications

• Extensive UK civil engineering experience in main contracting.
• Proven Senior Planner on infrastructure projects.
• Advanced Primavera P6 skills and NEC contract knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the project planning function.
• Develop, maintain and oversee the Primavera P6 construction programme.
• Communicate programme strategy and updates to stakeholders.
• Monitor progress and identify risks; implement mitigation strategies.
• Support programme-related aspects of NEC contract management.
