Job summary

The National Literacy Trust in Cardiff is seeking a part-time Project Lead to deliver a pilot project focused on engaging fathers, grandfathers and male carers in literacy activities.

You will manage research, partnerships and delivery across Cardiff, with travel as required and a fixed-term contract to end February 2028. This role is based from home with regular field activity in the local area.

Qualifications

• Strong research skills and ability to analyse data from multiple sources.
• Experience in developing and managing partnerships and delivering community/volunteer programmes.
• Live in or near Cardiff with good understanding of the local community and families.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day delivery of a pilot project across Cardiff.
• Develop research, partnerships and delivery for the project.
• Ensure milestones, reporting and learning to inform future volunteering practice.
