Carriera Limited is actively seeking a Chartered Building Surveyor to take on a Director role in Cardiff. The position offers leadership of the Building Surveying team, autonomy to shape strategy, and the opportunity to expand the consultancy’s regional footprint with major clients and complex instructions.

The ideal candidate will be MRICS with a strong Building Surveying background, extensive consultancy experience, and proven ability to lead teams and win work.

Qualifications

• MRICS qualification with a strong Building Surveying background.
• Significant consultancy experience within the commercial property sector.
• Proven experience leading and developing teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop and mentor the Building Surveying team.
• Oversee a broad range of building surveying instructions including technical due diligence, dilapidations, contract administration, building surveys and project consultancy.
• Build and maintain relationships with senior clients and key stakeholders.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities across the region.
• Develop the team and help shape the future direction of the Cardiff operation.
• Maintain high standards of technical and professional delivery.
