Job summary

Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Cardiac Physiologist for a Band 5 rotational role in cardiac physiology. You will rotate between non-invasive and invasive areas, performing 12-lead ECGs, ambulatory monitoring, and provocative treadmill tests under supervision.

Qualifications

• Must hold a degree in cardiac physiology or equivalent.
• RCCP or AHCS registration in progress or completed.
• Band 5 rotational position in cardiac physiology.

Responsibilities

• Rotate between non-invasive and invasive areas of the department.
• Perform 12-lead ECGs and ambulatory monitors with analysis.
• Conduct provocative treadmill tests and pharmacological MIBI.
• Left and right heart catheterisation; ILR implant and analysis.
• Pacemaker implantation and follow-up with supervision; device follow-up.
• Engage in professional development with training and appraisal.
• Maintain professionalism and liaise with clinical teams and public.
