Job summary

Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust invites applications for a Band 7 Specialist Cardiac Physiologist focused on Cardiac Rhythm Management and Invasive Cardiology. The role involves working across Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells sites to cover all aspects of the cardiology service, including complex device implants and EP procedures.

Candidates should hold a relevant degree (BSc/MSc in Clinical Physiology/Cardiac Science) and IBHRE/BHRS accreditation, ideally AHCS/HCPC registered.

Qualifications

• Degree in Clinical Physiology/Cardiology or Healthcare Science (Cardiac).
• IBHRE or BHRS accreditation for devices.
• AHCS or HCPC registration is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work across Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells sites to cover cardiology services.
• Gain exposure to complex device implants and EP procedures.
• Join a team of Cardiac Physiologists and other healthcare professionals.

Education

BSc (Hons) in Clinical Physiology (Cardiology)/BSc (Hons) Healthcare Science (Cardiac Science)/MSc Healthcare science (Cardiac) or equivalent

IBHRE or BHRS device accreditation

AHCS or HCPC registration
