Job summary

North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a cardiac physiologist to join the cardiac investigations unit. You will provide specialist cardiac services, perform diagnostic tests, and work within the multidisciplinary team across the Trust sites.

Essential is a BSc in Cardiac Physiology with NHS acute-site experience; the role involves catheter lab work, device implants, and duties across sites including Stockton as required. DBS checks apply.

Qualifications

• BSc (Hons) in Cardiac Physiology.
• Working towards BSE accreditation or BHRS.
• Recent development and additional course or qualification in leadership.
• Professional registration.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert clinical service within Cardiology ensuring high patient care standards.
• Perform diagnostic cardiac investigations and report findings.
• Work with MDT in the Cath lab including invasive angiography and device implant.
• Assist with device follow up clinics as appropriate.
• Contribute to staff duties, waiting lists and prioritise cardiac investigations.
