Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Works unsupervised in non-invasive testing and Cath lab; supervises Pacemaker/ICD follow up
• Performs specialised diagnostic cardiac physiological testing on patients
• Interprets results and provides reports for specialised investigations
• Communicates outcomes to clinical and non-clinical staff
• Adjusts devices as needed to support patient care
• Participates in roster in technical cardiology areas
• Assists in training Clinical staff and Trainee Cardiac Physiologists
• Monitors and maintains quality of services in Cardiac Diagnostics
• Keeps up to date with developments in cardiology and contributes to research
• Participates in clinical audits and R&D activities
• Adheres to infection control and radiation safety protocols
