Job summary

Circle Health Group’s Meriden Hospital in Coventry is hiring a Cardiac Physiologist to join the Cardiology team. The role is full time (37.5 hours per week) with a permanent contract and a flexible shift pattern.

You will perform and interpret non-invasive cardiac tests including resting ECGs, Holter monitoring, and exercise tolerance tests, and you will assist in diagnostic procedures. The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Clinical Physiology or equivalent, have device or Echocardiography

Qualifications

• Degree in Clinical physiology or equivalent / ONC / BTEC in physiological measurement and medical physics.
• Device or Echocardiography accreditation (BHRS/BHRE/BSE).
• Experience in customer care, including challenging situations.

Responsibilities

• Perform and interpret a wide range of non-invasive cardiac investigations including resting ECGs, Holter monitoring, event recorders, and blood pressure monitoring.
• Carry out and report on exercise tolerance tests (ETTs), tilt table testing, and other functional assessments.
• Assist in cardiac catheterisation procedures, including angiograms, angioplasties, and right heart studies.
• Monitor intra-cardiac pressures and waveforms during procedures, and conduct device checks and follow-ups.

Cardiac Physiologist Meriden Hospital 37.5 Hours & Permanent Salary: Up to £44,500.00 per year (depending on level of experience, training and qualification)

The Meriden Hospital in Coventry is part of Circle Health Group, Britain's leading provider of independent healthcare with a nationwide network of hospitals & clinics, performing more complex surgery than any other private healthcare provider in the country.

We have an opportunity for a Cardiac Physiologist to join their team of staff in the Cardiology department.

This is a full time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern.

Duties of this role include: Perform and interpret a wide range of non-invasive cardiac investigations including resting ECGs, Holter monitoring, event recorders, and blood pressure monitoring. Carry out and report on exercise tolerance tests (ETTs), tilt table testing, and other functional assessments. Assist in cardiac catheterisation procedures, including angiograms, angioplasties, and right heart studies. Monitor and record intra-cardiac pressures and waveforms during diagnostic and interventional procedures. Conduct pacemaker, ICD, and CRT device checks and follow-ups in accordance with current guidelines. Analyse device data and provide expert interpretation to guide clinical decisions.

• Current knowledge of a range of clinical specialties and developments in clinical practice.
• Experience of customer care, including interacting with customers in challenging situations.
• A degree in Clinical physiology or equivalent / ONC / BTEC in physiological measurement and medical physics.
• Device or Echocardiography accreditation (BHRS/BHRE/BSE)
