Job summary

Circle Health Group’s Meriden Hospital in Coventry is hiring a Cardiac Physiologist to join the Cardiology team. The role is full time (37.5 hours per week) with a permanent contract and a flexible shift pattern.

You will perform and interpret non-invasive cardiac tests including resting ECGs, Holter monitoring, and exercise tolerance tests, and you will assist in diagnostic procedures. The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Clinical Physiology or equivalent, have device or Echocardiography

Qualifications

• Degree in Clinical physiology or equivalent / ONC / BTEC in physiological measurement and medical physics.
• Device or Echocardiography accreditation (BHRS/BHRE/BSE).
• Experience in customer care, including challenging situations.

Responsibilities

• Perform and interpret a wide range of non-invasive cardiac investigations including resting ECGs, Holter monitoring, event recorders, and blood pressure monitoring.
• Carry out and report on exercise tolerance tests (ETTs), tilt table testing, and other functional assessments.
• Assist in cardiac catheterisation procedures, including angiograms, angioplasties, and right heart studies.
• Monitor intra-cardiac pressures and waveforms during procedures, and conduct device checks and follow-ups.
