Job summary

The Meriden Hospital in Coventry, part of Circle Health Group, is hiring a Housekeeper for 37.5 hours per week on a permanent basis. You will work across the Hotel Services team with flexible shifts to cover patient, public and staff areas.

Responsibilities include cleaning duties, linen replenishment and maintaining a safe environment. Benefits include holidays, pension and private healthcare options within Circle Health Group.

Qualifications

• Literacy and numeracy competency.
• Good communication skills.
• Maths and English GCSEs A–C or equivalent Level 2 evidence.
• Proficiency in the use of a PC and hospital software/systems.

• Undertake in the day-to-day cleaning of patient, public and employee areas.
• Maintain a safe and pleasant environment for patients, visitors and Circle Health Group employees.
• Replenish linen and consumables.
• Provide flexibility to work in all departments (inc Theatre areas) and at other Circle Health Group sites where appropriate and as requested
• Complete daily task sheets and submit to the Housekeeper Lead on a daily basis for auditing purposes
• Comply with all relevant mandatory training

Housekeeper The Meriden Hospital 37.5 Hours & Permanent Salary: Up to £24,947.00 per year (depending on level of experience, training and qualification)

The Meriden Hospital in Coventry is part of Circle Health Group, Britain's leading provider of independent healthcare with a nationwide network of hospitals & clinics, performing more complex surgery than any other private healthcare provider in the country.

We have an opportunity for a Housekeeper to join their team of staff in the Hotel Services department.

This is a full time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern.

Duties of this role include:

• Undertake in the day-to-day cleaning of patient, public and employee areas.
• Maintain a safe and pleasant environment for patients, visitors and Circle Health Group employees.
• Replenish linen and consumables.
• Provide flexibility to work in all departments (inc Theatre areas) and at other Circle Health Group sites where appropriate and as requested
• Complete daily task sheets and submit to the Housekeeper Lead on a daily basis for auditing purposes

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

• Competency in literacy and numeracy
• Good Communication skills
• Maths, English GCSE at grades A to C or equivalent functional skills level 2 evidence.
• Proficiency in the use of a PC, including the use of software and systems.
