Job summary

HSBC is seeking an experienced Product Manager – Scheme Management for Unsecured Lending. This hybrid role offers base locations in Birmingham, Leeds, Sheffield or Chester.

You will lead RTB activities with Visa and Mastercard, monitor scheme updates, and manage investments around £25m annually. You will own end-to-end investment fund processes, oversee claims reconciliation, run governance and collaborate with global teams, RTB, Finance and external partners.

Qualifications

• Experience in cards (credit/debit) and/or product management with scheme exposure.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to turn large datasets into insights.
• Proven stakeholder management with internal and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Be the RTB product lead for Visa and Mastercard relationships.
• Track scheme bulletins/announcements and land actions with the right teams.
• Manage scheme investment funds (approx. £25m annually).
• Own end-to-end investment fund processes: requests, approvals, delivery tracking.
• Oversee claims processing and reconciliation in line with accounting guidance.
• Run scheme governance including monthly reporting and priorities.
• Collaborate with global teams, FT, and external partners.
