Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. in London’s Canary Wharf area is seeking a Senior Analyst or Associate for the Centre for Carbon Transition (CCT). You will support the firm’s climate strategy, appraise decarbonization plans, and deliver carbon analytics across transactions and portfolios.

Collaboration with New York and London teams and with clients is central. The role requires a strong quantitative background, attention to detail, and demonstrated interest in energy, climate and decarbonization themes.

Qualifications

• University degree in a relevant field.
• 1–3 years of experience in energy, decarbonization, sustainability or climate roles.
• Ability to convey information clearly, accurately and succinctly (written and verbal).
• Excellent analytical skills with Excel and handling large datasets/third‑party sources.
• Strong attention to detail and self‑starter mindset.

Responsibilities

• Support development and implementation of the Firm’s strategy to align its financing portfolio with net zero emissions by 2050.
• Evaluate clients’ transition strategies and decarbonization plans credibility.
• Support and own elements of quantitative client and portfolio carbon analytics.
• Translate outputs into executive-ready recommendations for engagement and forums.
• Support external engagement and events.
