Job summary

JPMorgan Chase's Centre for Carbon Transition (CCT) team leads target-setting and management of firmwide carbon intensity targets, green financing goals, and ESFR. The Senior Analyst/Associate role supports the energy transition outlook while building decarbonization expertise.

The role involves analytical work, collaboration with London/NY teams, and engagement with clients and senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• University degree in finance, energy/environmental economics or sustainability.
• 1–3 years in energy, decarbonization, sustainability or climate role.
• Clear written and verbal communication.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Interest in energy, climate and decarbonization themes.

Responsibilities

• Support development and implementation of strategy to align financing with net zero by 2050.
• Evaluate clients’ transition strategies and decarbonization credibility.
• Own elements of quantitative client and portfolio carbon analytics.
• Translate quantitative outputs into executive-ready recommendations for stakeholder engagement.
• Support external engagement and events.
