Warwickshire County Council is seeking an experienced vehicle technician to inspect, diagnose and repair police vehicles and a wider fleet of cars, vans and plant. The role features a 37-hour week and the chance to join an out-of-hours emergency call-out rota.

The ideal applicant will have proven maintenance and diagnostic skills across a multi‑franchise fleet, with eligibility for an NPPV check on appointment.

This permanent post sits in the County Fleet Maintenance team at Warwickshire County Council. The work centres on inspecting, diagnosing and repairing police vehicles, alongside a wider mix of cars, light commercial vehicles, passenger-carrying vehicles, trailers and small plant. Alongside the 37-hour week, the role offers the chance to join an out-of-hours emergency call-out rota. Appointment requires an NPPV check.
