Job description

Elite Auto is a trusted, family-owned, independent franchise dealer group with over 60 years of delivering a comprehensive and market-leading customer experience.

We are seeking an experienced Motor Trade Sales Executive to join our sales team immediately in Cardiff. We desire an energetic individual who radiates positivity and understands the importance of building long-term customer relationships based on trust and honesty. You should be able to demonstrate that you will complement our team of like-minded colleagues and help us maintain our goal of being the first choice dealership for both customers and staff in the area.

This position offers excellent terms and benefits, including a £25,000 basic salary, a commission structure with uncapped earnings, and a company car after a successful probation period, with an OTE of £60,000. Full brand training will be provided, with the opportunity to earn brand accreditation within 12 months. A good understanding of the automotive industry is essential for progression to interview.

Objectives:
  • Provide the highest levels of customer service by offering knowledgeable, courteous, responsive, and efficient service, projecting the company's quality image.
  • Hit and exceed sales targets while prioritizing the customer experience.
  • Achieve personal sales, profit, and activity targets as specified in the job description.
  • Use phone skills to renew expiring finance agreements with existing customers professionally.
  • Meet all key performance standards outlined in the job description.
  • Capture customer data promptly during the sales process.
You:
  • Have an outstanding sales achievement record.
  • Can follow a structured process.
  • Are self-motivated.
  • Comply with company and manufacturer procedures and reporting requirements.
  • Work within a defined sales process environment.
  • Possess exceptional administrative skills.
  • Have satisfactory computer skills to operate internal management systems.

  • Are resilient and capable of handling rejection effectively.

Additional benefits include 22 days of annual holiday (increased with service), 8 bank holidays, a fixed day off during the week, every other weekend off, and competitive working hours.
