Job summary

Kingston Barnes Ltd. is hiring yard drivers for a site based near BS20. You will drive cars and vans around a large yard, collecting and relocating stock as required.

The role is outdoors, requires walking between vehicles, and you must be physically able to work in all weather conditions. The shift pattern is Monday to Friday with occasional Saturdays, 15:00-23:45, eight hours per shift. Pay starts at £16.64 per hour on weekdays with holiday pay and increases on Saturdays to £24.97 per hour

Qualifications

• Valid driving licence required.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Physically able to walk on site and enter/exit vehicles in all weather.

Responsibilities

• Move cars and vans around a large site from BS20 as part of a team.
• Collect vehicles from one location and drive them to another to keep stock accurate.
• Work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment and assist with site tasks as needed.
• Be physically present on site, walking between vehicles and roles.

The Opportunity:

• Operating from BS20 you will be required to move cars and vans around a large site.
• As a car driver, you will work as part of a dynamic and supportive team in what can be described as a fast-paced and target driven environment to ensure the stock entering or leaving the depot is accurate.
• The activities vary, so often, you will be required to move around the site collecting cars from a location and driving them to their required location

This will be a role for someone who is a confident and experienced driver. You will be walking around site and getting in and out of vehicles, so it is important that you are physically able for this role.

Please be aware that you will be outside and this will include working in all different weather types!

Shift pattern:

• Monday to Friday (occasional Saturdays required)
• 15:00-23:45
• 8 hour shift

Pay:

• Mon- Fri - £14.85 + Holiday Pay £1.90 = £16.64 per hour
• Saturday - £22.28 per hour plus holiday pay £2.69 = £24.97 per hour
