Job summary

Nestlé Waters & Premium Beverage, Buxton, Derbyshire, is seeking a Project Manager to lead capital investment projects at the manufacturing site. You’ll translate charters into safe, compliant delivery while balancing safety, quality, cost and timescale.

You will collaborate with Operations, R&D, Marketing and Logistics to ensure value delivery. The role emphasizes risk management, financial control and a strong safety culture within a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering capital projects in manufacturing or industrial settings.
• Ability to translate charters and specs into safe, compliant delivery.
• Understanding of mechanical and electrical engineering principles.
• Knowledge of CE marking and PUWER safety requirements.
• Commercial awareness for cost control and supplier negotiation.
• Strong collaboration with Operations, R&D, Marketing and Logistics.

Responsibilities

• Lead capital investment projects from definition through start-up, within scope, budget and timing.
• Embed Health, Safety and Environmental requirements across project activity.
• Coordinate commissioning of plant and equipment and handover to operations.
• Plan and oversee third-party activity on site with clear expectations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align project scope and dependencies.
• Develop cost estimates and timing plans for CapEx investments up to £5 million+.
