About the Role:

• The Capital Projects Manager is a key role within the Trust, supporting the Associate Director of Capital Development by providing professional Estates design, technical advice, and engineering/construction management services.
• Directly manage and supervise capital schemes related to all building and engineering matters within the Trust.
• Oversee the provision of building improvement schemes through construction and engineering contractors, external specialists, and surveyors, ensuring alignment with the Trust's Estates and Service strategies, as well as capital and major revenue projects.
• Responsible for the design, detailed specifications, procurement, planning, implementation, project management, and contract administration of all capital and major revenue projects.

About You:

• Significant experience and knowledge of project management in building construction.
• Deep understanding of NHS project management, including procurement routes and business case development.
• Extensive experience in designing, specifying, and negotiating construction projects, as well as managing capital projects and contract administration.
• Experience facilitating formal tendering processes.
• Desirable: IOSH Healthcare (Risk & Safety Management) or NEBOSH General Certificate (Construction).
