A leading NHS Trust in the United Kingdom seeks an experienced Capital Project Manager to oversee diverse capital investment and backlog maintenance projects. The role involves extensive stakeholder management and technical support within the Estates and Facilities Directorate. A background in the built environment is essential, while civil engineering knowledge is a plus. A Capital Project Manager plays a key role in the Capital Development Team with Estates, Facilities and Development Directorate. The post holder will take ownership and be responsible for coordinating and managing a varied range of Capital Investment and Backlog Maintenance Projects ensuring they are delivered successfully.
The role requires extensive on‑site experience managing multiple stakeholders including contractors, design teams, consultants, principal designers, building control, users and patient experience groups. While the preferred candidate will have experience in the built environment, knowledge or experience in civil engineering is desirable.
