Job summary

Career Legal is seeking a Business Development Specialist to support its Capital Markets, Finance & Restructuring practices. You will work with senior lawyers and BD leaders on growth initiatives across the EMEA region.

This role offers exposure to high-profile client development projects, pitches, events, market intelligence and strategy in a global environment. Reporting to the Senior BD Manager, you will collaborate with partners and the BD team to drive client targeting, credentials

Qualifications

3+ years of business development experience in a professional services environment.
Experience in a law firm, ideally within corporate, finance, capital markets or restructuring.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Prepare pitches, proposals and RFP responses.
Manage legal directory and award submissions and league table reporting.
Develop and maintain credentials, marketing collateral and client materials.
Support client targeting and cross selling initiatives and key client programmes.
Assist with strategic business plans development and implementation.
Conduct market, client and competitor research with CI team.
Organise client events, seminars, webinars and sponsorship activity.
Maintain BD activity data within CRM and experience management systems.
Collaborate with PR, Communications, Digital, Marketing and Content teams.
Coordinate practice group meetings and track progress against objectives.
