Job summary

Anglian Water Group is seeking an experienced professional to develop and manage an integrated Capital Delivery schedule of works across the Alliance. You will coordinate with central programme leads, partner managers, and engineers to ensure accurate, realistic timelines and resource forecasts.

The role supports governance, risk-based prioritisation, and regulatory compliance, balancing cost and delivery while aligning with Anglian Water’s strategic objectives.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and control integrated programme and project schedules across the Alliance Capital Delivery portfolio
• Create and update detailed project plans, including milestones, dependencies, critical paths and resource requirements
• Monitor programme progress against baselines and identify schedule variances
• Analyse schedule performance and provide early warning of potential delays, risks and opportunities
• Lead risk-based prioritisation of Capital work programmes, engineering resource allocation, and alignment with operational delivery teams and scheduled works
• Collaborate with partner Parcel Managers and Engineers to ensure scopes align with DM milestones
• Embed risk management into project and programme delivery
• Lead and influence cross-functional teams and alliance partners without direct authority
• Demonstrate experience using MS Project and/or Primavera P6
• Experience in CDM and Engineering processes for Capital Delivery
• Experience in NEC or similar contract frameworks
• Strong understanding of commercial risk, cost and value optimisation
• Experience in regulated utility/infrastructure environments
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and challenge decisions
• Experience operating at PM/Senior Manager level or equivalent
• Strong commercial and financial awareness
• Advanced schedule development and management
• CPM analysis
• Programme and portfolio scheduling
• Resource and capacity planning
• Integrated Maintenance and Repair of Water Recycling (IMR-WR) services on wastewater network infrastructure across Anglian Region
• Deliverables include maintenance and repair of sewers, rising mains, manholes, SUDS, street furniture, surveys, blockages, and restoration activities
