Integrated Maintenance and Repair of Water Recycling (IMR-WR) provide repair and maintenance services on the wastewater network infrastructure across the Anglian Region, including planned and emergency works, construction of new assets, surveys, blockages, and ancillary/support activities. Key deliverables that IMR WR provide include maintenance and repair of sewers, rising mains, manholes, SUDS (sustainable urban drainage systems), street furniture, construction of new assets, surveys (e.g., CCTV), clearance of blockages, and support activities (e.g. reinstatement, tankering, technical support).
You’ll be responsible for development an integrated schedule of works for Capital Delivery in the Alliance. It will involve the creation, management, and updating of a master schedule of works that can be used to communicate the development of Capital Delivery throughout the process steps required to complete the work. It will work closely with the Central Programme Manager, Programme Lead, Planned Works Manager and Planning Compliance Lead. Coordination is expected to occur with the Partner Operational Managers to ensure the schedule is accurate and realistic. This Capital Delivery schedule of works will feed as a sub-schedule into accurate updating of the Alliance Accepted Programme and will be referred to by the Partner Management Group to ensure outputs, resources, and forecasts are realistic and committed to. The role provides independent challenge, governance oversight, and risk-based prioritisation of work, ensuring delivery decisions optimise performance outcomes, regulatory compliance, and support the Alliance NEC contractual position. This role will also support the effective management of Engineering resources, working across alliance partners, client stakeholders and internal functions to balance risk, cost, and delivery across the updated; monthly, quarterly and annual programme. The role is critical in ensuring that both Programme and Operational decisions are evidence-led, commercially sound, as well as aligned to Anglian Water’s strategic objectives.
