Job summary

Portsmouth Water is seeking a strategic and forward-thinking Head of Capital Delivery to guide planning and execution of its core capital programmes. You will lead a multidisciplinary team, embed commercial insight early, and ensure value-driven delivery across governance, risk, and supplier management.

The role offers a highly competitive £95,000 salary, a discretionary annual bonus, and a £5,184 car allowance, plus generous pension and benefits, with hybrid working to support flexibility.

Qualifications

• Experience leading large capital programmes in infrastructure/utilities.
• Strong governance, investment planning and budget management.
• Proven ability to manage diverse teams and external delivery partners.
• Knowledge of NEC contracts and asset management systems.

• Lead Capital Delivery team and strategic direction.
• Ensure delivery of core capital programmes on time and value.
