Job summary

Southern Water is seeking a driven Service Delivery Project Manager to lead end-to-end capital maintenance projects across our assets in the Kent, Hampshire, and Sussex regions.

You will manage multiple projects, oversee contract administration, cost control, and safety performance, reporting to Senior Project Manager in a high-performing team.

This role offers significant governance and financial control responsibility in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Proven project management experience in a utility environment.
• Strong understanding of regulatory framework for utilities.
• Experience with contract administration and cost control.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders.
• Health, safety and environmental awareness.

Responsibilities

• Leading project delivery with health, safety, and environmental excellence.
• Managing contractor performance across H&S, scope, cost, and quality.
• Owning budget and cost management across multiple workstreams.
• Reviewing contractor payment applications and ensuring alignment with scope.
• Attend operational sites for cost verification and stakeholder meetings.
• Drive performance against milestones, KPIs, and delivery targets.
• Build relationships with site owners, contractors, and stakeholders.
