Job summary

E3recruitment is seeking an experienced Engineering Maintenance Manager to lead two automated manufacturing facilities in Sutton-in-Ashfield, taking ownership of site-wide maintenance strategy and reliability improvements.

You will oversee the capital build of a new facility, implement a CMMS, and drive TPM-focused maintenance plans to reduce downtime while upholding health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing and leading maintenance teams in heavy industrial automated manufacturing.
• Experience in fast-paced, high-output production facilities.
• Strong knowledge of TPM and asset care strategy.
• Experience implementing or optimizing CMMS.
• Proven ability to reduce reactive maintenance and improve reliability.
• Experience managing budgets and cost control.
• Commitment to health, safety and engineering compliance.
• Exposure to capital projects, installation or commissioning is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the engineering team across both factories.
• Own site-wide maintenance strategy and performance.
• Manage and control the maintenance budget.
• Support installation and ramp-up of the new facility.
• Lead CMMS implementation and usage as a core reporting tool.
• Develop and implement structured maintenance plans.
• Drive asset care and proactive maintenance culture.
• Embed TPM and reliability-centred maintenance.
• Reduce downtime and improve OEE on automated production lines.
• Ensure health & safety and statutory compliance.
