Diageo is recruiting for a Project Engineer in Leven to lead capital investment initiatives across our manufacturing and distillation operations. You will manage feasibility through commissioning, coordinating with Operations, Engineering and Procurement to deliver high-value projects on time and within budget.

You will bring experience in mechanical, electrical, civil or process engineering, with a strong emphasis on safety, governance, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering end-to-end engineering or capital projects in a manufacturing, industrial, or process environment.
• Qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Process Engineering or a related field.
• Strong collaborator management, communication, and project planning skills.
• Knowledge of PRA, HAZOP, LOPA, SIL, SIS, DSEAR and PUWER.
• NEBOSH or equivalent Health & Safety qualification.
• PRINCE2, APM or equivalent Project Management qualification.

Responsabilités

• Deliver CapEx projects across our sites, from scope development through to commissioning and close-out.
• Partner with Operations and key collaborators to develop project requirements, technical specifications and arguments.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, forecasts and governance to ensure successful delivery.
• Lead external contractors and suppliers, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to specification.
• Champion health, safety and environmental excellence during every phase of the project.
• Identify and apply new technologies, guidelines and innovative solutions to improve performance.
• Build strong partnerships across Engineering, Operations, Procurement, Risk & Governance and technical specialist teams.
• Use data, analytics and structured problem-solving approaches to drive continuous improvement and solve complex challenges.
