Are you a forward-thinking technologist ready to shape the future of defence innovation?

Join a cutting-edge team driving the development of next-generation weapon systems through advanced virtual or simulated environments.

As Capability Lead, you’ll work alongside senior management and industry partners to enhance simulation facilities, ensuring they are state-of-the-art. You will lead a skilled team and drive experimentation across the full product lifecycle.

You should have a passion for technology and be able to communicate with technical specialists about AI, ML, and containerisation. Innovation and thinking outside the box are encouraged.

Responsibilities include:

1. Drive innovation across WSSE facilities, infrastructure, and processes
2. Work closely with industry partners, including MOD and NATO
3. Lead knowledge-sharing and support a culture of continuous learning
4. Develop emerging technology plans and manage capital investments
5. Inspire and lead a team of technologists

Minimum requirements:

1. Experience in advanced simulation of virtual environments
2. Ability to understand and communicate complex defence concepts
3. Experience driving innovation and collaborating across internal and external teams
4. Technical knowledge of AI, ML, or containerisation
5. A curious mindset and passion for future-focused technology
