Capability Lead

Weapon Systems Simulation & Experimentation
Hybrid 3 Days in Office

Are you a forward-thinking technologist ready to shape the future of defence innovation?

Join a cutting-edge team driving the development of next-generation weapon systems through advanced virtual or simulated environments.

As a Capability Lead, you will work alongside senior management and industry partners to enhance simulation facilities, ensuring they are state-of-the-art. You will lead a skilled team and drive experimentation across the entire product lifecycle.

You should have a passion for technology and be able to communicate effectively with technical specialists in AI, ML, and containerisation. You will be encouraged to think outside the box for technical innovation.

Responsibilities

1. Drive innovation across WSSE facilities, infrastructure, and processes.
2. Collaborate closely with industry partners, including MOD and NATO.
3. Lead knowledge-sharing initiatives and support a culture of continuous learning.
4. Develop emerging technology plans and manage capital investments.
5. Inspire and lead a team of technologists.
