Job summary

The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust is seeking a dedicated Cancer Services Data Coordinator to support delivery of national Cancer Waiting Times objectives. You will track cancer suspicious/confirmed patients along their pathway from referral to treatment, ensuring timely escalations and actions within the Trust.

• Produce timely reports on department performance.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient journey against 28, 31 and 62 day cancer waiting time targets.
• Maintain data collection systems and ensure data accuracy.
• Produce regular reports on waiting times performance.
• Liaise with diagnostic departments and clinical staff to meet timescales.
• Highlight breaches and expedite appointments as needed.
• Record data on SCR and ensure MDT discussion with investigations and pathology reports.
• Participate in weekly cancer PTL meetings and MDT admin tasks.
