Stockport NHS Foundation Trust seeks a Band 5 Assistant Manager to join the newly established Macmillan Cancer Support Centre in Stockport, helping launch and develop a service for local cancer care needs.

You will work with the Centre Manager to run the centre day-to-day, ensuring a welcoming, high-quality service for patients, families and carers, and supervise volunteers and the cancer care coordinator team.

Qualifikationen

• Experience working directly with people affected by cancer.
• Experience in health education/promotion.
• Experience managing an individual or small team.

Aufgaben

• Provide leadership and management for centre volunteers and the cancer care coordinator team.
• Support service development aligned with personalised cancer care.
• Ensure patients and carers have access to information, emotional support and signposting.
