Job summary

This part-time position (18.75 hours/week) requires excellent organisational and interpersonal skills, with careful data input and independent working within service policies, to help patients, families and carers navigate the pathway efficiently.

Qualifications

• Eye for detail to ensure accurate data input in line with guidance.

Responsibilities

• Track and chase diagnostic investigations to meet pathway timeframes.
• Liaise with patients to keep them informed of diagnostic steps and appointment times.
• Coordinate with GP practices to manage referrals and engagement in the pathway.
• Book post-MDT follow-up appointments for specific tumour sites.
• Track surgical and tertiary investigations including PET scans.
• Attend cancer Pathway Tracking List meetings for relevant tumour sites.
