Job summary

County Durham & Darlington NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Cancer Data Project Coordinator on a 12‑month fixed term basis. You will work with the Cancer Data Project Manager and multidisciplinary teams to plan, coordinate and deliver data improvement projects, developing documentation and ensuring active participation across work streams.

Across NHS systems, you will identify data gaps, create reports and dashboards, and support patient surveys to drive service improvements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 GCSEs including English and Maths.
• NVQ 4 in business administration or equivalent.
• Healthcare Informatics qualification or relevant experience.
• Experience using data capture and reporting tools in healthcare.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with clinical teams.

Responsibilities

• Support Cancer Data Project Manager to deliver objectives.
• Identify data gaps and develop new reports and dashboards.
• Coordinate patient surveys and SOP development.
• Maintain project documentation across lifecycle.
• Collaborate with staff across sites to ensure timely delivery.
