Job summary

Wirral University Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Cancer Project Support Officer to join the Cancer Services Team. The role supports the Cancer Services Project Team in delivering FDS improvement projects, organizing meetings, and producing presentations and reports.

The post is based at Clatterbridge Hospital with cross-site work to Arrowe Park Hospital, Monday–Friday 8:30–4:30, 37.5 hours per week. Previous NHS project experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Educated to Diploma Level/NVQ level 4 or equivalent experience.
• Evidence of continued professional development.
• Experience of the creation of project documentation.
• Excellent computer/keyboard skills using MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Organise and administrate project meetings and assist in presentations and reports.
• Develop and deliver Faster Diagnosis Standard (FDS) improvement projects.
• Maintain project management tools such as action logs.
• Collaborate with clinical and operational teams across WUTH.
